FAQ

Do you have all the props?

What is the best age to photograph my new baby?

Yes! I have many props (over 50), like airplane, car, princess carriage, beds, bowls, wreaths, backgrounds, high end, hand made bonnets, headbands, beanbag fabrics, furs, flokatis, rompers and wraps. I am constantly updating and purchasing new goodies, only the very best for your child.

Your baby's session will be fully styled based on your color preferences.

All you have to do is enjoy the session and lean back.

Out of experience, I would suggest to have your Baby photographed between Day 4-14 of her/his new life, when Newborns are still in that super sleepy, squishy, curly stage. It's also best to do the session before the baby acne sets in. This is not to say we can't photograph your baby a bit older, but the ultimate time is during the first two weeks.

How far in advance should I book?

Newborn sessions - Can parents and siblings be in the pictures too?

It's never too early to book! Newborn sessions should be booked during your pregnancy, the earlier the better.

Yes, some Family Pictures are included at Beginning of the Session. However, newborn sessions are very specific to your newborn and will be the main focus of the session.

'Basic Retouched' Images - What do I have to expect?

Home Sessions - Do you bring all the props and outfits with you?

Expect high quality images, professionally lit and composed.

Baby's skin will remain in its natural state, and so will the parents' and siblings' skin. Please, check out the difference between basic editing and premium retouching right here.

If you prefer Baby's skin without the skin flakes, which a newborn naturally has in the first weeks of his/her life, no problem at all.

My Newborn Package includes 20 premium retouched

digital images, which you will be able to choose from the entire gallery of basic edited photos.

You can always add more premium retouching for an additional price of

35$/image, 150$/5 images, 250$/10 images, 500$/20 images.

After you have booked your session with me, signed the session contract and paid the retainer, I will send you a questionnaire, to learn more about your vision for the session.

I will send you a list of all (over 50) available props and you will be able to pick them in advance. I will also ask about your favorite colors for the session, and will bring a variety of high quality outfits in those colors with me.

Sneak Peaks of my props and outfits can also be seen in Session Setups.

What are the Pros and Cons of either in Studio or in Home Session?

What will happen in case my baby has a really bad day during Session Time?

Starting with the In Studio Session:

You will have to pack your Baby's belongings and get out of your comfy home and on the road, making your way to my studio but, you will have everything I have to offer available to you, meaning all the props, all the outfits, literally everything. In case one Prop doesn't work, you will be free to choose another one. You will be free to decide together with me, which background is most pleasing for you, and so on. You will be basically a part of the creative process if you desire so.

For the In Home Session:

You will be limited by your chosen props and colors (for outfits and backgrounds) you have decided on when filling out the questionnaire. Unfortunately, I can't bring my entire Studio to your house, but you don't have to get out of your house, organizing everything in advance.

Instead, you can stay in the comfort of your home, and either enjoy your Baby's Session up close or do whatever you need to do, and have me create beautiful Setups with your Baby.

It is really rare but it can happen.

You never know what might bother your sweet little girl or boy during the photo session, and for some reason they decide not to sleep or are not happy at all, and depending on the props you have chosen, it is not going to work on that day.

I will try my very best for a certain amount of time to make the session work but won't force your Baby into anything.

Worst case scenario, we will have to reschedule (additional $200).
